Skoda Vehicle History Report

The Skoda Rapid is a mid-size MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) made by the Czech automotive company Skoda, introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011. The Rapid was designed in parallel with the larger Octavia Coupé and, later, also the smaller Cittadella. Announced on 5 April 2009, the Rapid was previewed in May 2010, and was officially launched at the Geneva Motor Show on 7 March 2011, as Skoda's first mid-size MPV. In 2013, the Rapid was replaced with the Rapid Atego, a more refined version, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Rapid is Skoda's second-generation MPV. Its design follows the Octavia's with slight exterior updates. On 10 June 2015, Skoda announced the new 2017 Rapid, featuring the 1.4 turbo petrol engine, but Skoda only offer diesel engine for Europe. Do not forget to use Skoda VIN decoder in order to avoid potential problems when buying a used car.
