Nissan Vehicle History Report
The 2011 Nissan Leaf was released last year with two significant updates – bigger batteries and an improved electric driving range. Since then, the battery has been the standard lithium ion (LiFePO4) for Leafs in all markets, but the upgraded driving range means that there’s now room for a third type of battery – the smaller, older zinc iron aluminium (ZnFe2O4) type. This is the new Nissan Leaf. It has the usual features, such as heated and cooled seats, air-conditioning, an iPod connectivity, heated and power operated rear and front seats, and front-seat armrests. Plus it has an integrated solar panel on the roof, and – for the first time in the world – a car with no front or rear door handles. But it’s also a new concept, and it’s aimed at a market that’s been left untapped. Do not forget to use Nissan VIN decoder in order to avoid potential problems when buying a used car.
