Mercedes-Benz Vehicle History Report
The Mercedes-Benz M-Class is a compact luxury SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2017. It is a replacement for the second generation W220 model, and is marketed as a sport utility vehicle (SUV). The first generation of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class was in turn a replacement of the second generation W210 model. Development of the next-generation GL-Class began in 2006, when Mercedes-Benz took over the former Sorento development. Like its predecessor, it shares the platform and platform design with the second generation E-Class, which was introduced in 2009. It is equipped with all-wheel drive and is primarily derived from Mercedes-Benz’s four-cylinder M157 B48 engine. The first public appearance of the successor was at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan. The vehicle was given the name M-Class. Do not forget to use Mercedes-Benz VIN decoder in order to avoid potential problems when buying a used car.
