Fiat Vehicle History Report

Fiat is an automobile company with headquarters in the city of Turin, Italy, and is the oldest automobile company still in continuous existence in the world. Fiat was founded by Giovanni Agnelli and Giovanni Borgese on 29 July 1899. The company went through a series of mergers and name changes and adopted several non-automotive industries in the 1970s. Agnelli's original Fiat was a bicycle manufacturer; it became an automobile manufacturer after the 1908 company's first automobile, the 15HP, an early gasoline-powered car. In 1909 it began the production of a series of three-wheeled vehicle that became Fiat's first cars, the 'Fiat P15', 'Fiat P20' and 'Fiat 12HP', which were also the first mass-produced cars. In 1911, Fiat introduced its world-famous 500 series, the first mass-produced car with a four-stroke engine. Do not forget to use Fiat VIN decoder in order to avoid potential problems when buying a used car.
